The end of another accademic year is nearing, exams are over and thus we are in some kind
of education project fire-storm. There is a counting project, countless animation projects and possibly
a Scalextric taster but most high profile is a theatrical performance demonstrating force amplification Suzie Small Lifts A Car
which James is making with Mark Anderson and pupils from Castle Vale School. The performance will be on the main stage at Birmingham Rep.
on 9th July at about 13.00. Admission is Free and it would be great to see you there (it's not in the Rep's program so just turn up.
Pilot this summer comes from @ A E Harris on Thursday 2th July (this is a correction)
9 different companies present pieces at the venue. Doors open
at 19.00 the second act is on at 19.30. The evening is cheap and highly recommended.
On 17th July we intend to mount a tribute to one of our favourite films Andrei Tarkovski's Stalker. The evening is expected
to include, alongside a screening of the film @ A E Harris, a revival of our It's Your Film booth, an installation performance moment, a vodka
bar, a complimentary hair clippering service and, possibly, a photographic installation. If you haven't seen the film then you really
should and if you have come along anyway as there are many 'bounus features'.
Thank you to everyone who turned out make 24 Hour Scalextric such fun. We were really gratified by people turning up unexpectedly
at crazy hours to help us our and messages received from listeners to the webcast commentary really spurred us on. We have reveived listening figures
that suggest our 200 strong listenership each 'tuned in' for an average of 5.5 hours.
